Junior Courses

July 1 - August 30
Monday-Friday
Choose all nine weeks or less (one week minimum required).
Ages 7-17 (participants grouped according to age & ability)
We use canoes, kayaks, lasers, motorboats, optimists, puffers, rhodes 19 & row boats. Participants learn sailing skills, parts of the boat, points of sail, mariner skills (knot tying, craftsmanship, boating terms) & team building. We feature regatta training and sail racing. Option to take part in the Junior Sailing Association (JSA) regatta.


Sailing - Long Dock With American Flag at the End

Sail School $450/week

9 a.m.-4 p.m. (full day) This is a strict and competitive sailing program for those beginning their sailing experience or for those who are more experienced. All levels are taught advanced sailing techniques on and offshore. In class, we focus on regatta sailing and offer the competitive edge you are looking for. Optional programs include door-door bus transportation and/or daily lunch.

Summertime Sailors $450/week

9 a.m.-4 p.m. (full day)
Basic sailing program with some camp experiences offered. Visit the Parkwood Sports Complex when sailing is suspended due to weather conditions. Optional programs include door-to-door bus transportation, daily lunch and field trips. Pre-planned rainy day & no-wind schedules included.

Anchors Away All Afternoon $215/week

 
1 p.m.-4 p.m. (1/2 day)
*For the late sleepers who want join us at the best time of day to sail. Pre-planned rainy day & no wind schedules! 
*No transportation, lunch or trips available due to program time- make sure to pack a snack. Enjoy afternoon sailing at its finest!



Sunset Sailing
$105/week

4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (extended sail)
Avoid the camp pick-up traffic. Your child can enjoy sailing at the end of his or her camp day! It's the best time of day to sail! This exciting sail session has you viewing beautiful sunsets!
