Memberships, Programs & Events
We offer a variety of membership options to fit your needs.
Family
Two (2) registered adults living at the same residence; and
Up to 4 children under the age of 25 for a total of six family members.
Families will be charge an additional $85 per family member if they wish to include more than 6 total.
Family of Two
Two registered adults (18+) living at the same residence, or one adult 18+ and one child under 18.
Individual
One registered adult 18+.
Senior
Registered adults 65+.
Nanny
One registered caregiver who can attend the pool with registered children Monday - Friday.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, many of our programs require modification or potentially cancellation. Please stay tuned as we hope to provide updates soon.
Swim Team
Our competitive swim team, member of the Nassau Municipal Swim Conference, competes against other teams from Nassau County. Practices are held at the Parkwood Family Aquatic Center, Monday through Friday, 5 - 7 p.m.; Meets are held Saturday mornings at various locations throughout the county. Swimmers MUST be available for all practices/meets. Swimmers are responsible for their own transportation to and from swim meets.
Schedules will be made available at practice.

Masters Swim Program
Our adult lap program is open to master swimmers, tri-athletes, competitive and fitness swimmers, ages 18+. A coach is present for each practice to help you reach your goals.
There are 50 meter practices Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings; 6 - 7:30 a.m., beginning in June and ending Labor Day.

Group Swimming Lessons
We provide swim instruction following the American Red Cross guidelines.

Class Requirements
Learn-to-Swim:
- Must be a Parkwood Family Aquatic Center pool member.
- Must be able to stand in the pool or swim on their own.
Caregiver and Me:
- Must be a Parkwood Family Aquatic Center pool member.
- Swim diapers ARE permitted.
- Parent/guardian must accompany student in the pool
Private Swimming Lessons.Private lessons run for 30 minutes. The price is $50. per half hour

Water Exercise Classes
Water exercise programs are available at various times throughout the day. Find an instructor that best fits your needs and register for one or more classes.
