A bit early but our Scarecrow Festival kicks off all the exciting holiday festivities on Sunday, October 20. Then Halloween Window Painting Sunday, October 27 and the Halloween Skate Parade at the Andrew Stergiopolous Ice Rink on Wednesday, October 30.
Our Scarecrow Festival is Sunday, October 20 in the Village Green. Choose a time (10 a.m. or 12 p.m.), bring an old pair of jeans & tee shirt for your scarecrow then take it home! $25 family fee includes tasty fall snacks (hot dogs, apple cider donuts, etc.),beverages, face painting, temporary tattoos, pumpkin giveaway, music and family activities. Let the creative artist in you come out for all to see during our Halloween Window Painting event on Bond Street. Sunday, October 27 at 12 noon, friends and families can partner up to paint storefront windows and help us bring an eerie, festive look to Great Neck. It is FREE but registration is MANDATORY. Our Halloween Skate Parade at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink is Wednesday, October 30, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Free admission and skate rental for everyone wearing a costume. Only those in costume can get on the ice. (This special Halloween event is not a public session). Costume prizes awarded for cutest, best overall, spookiest, funniest and most innovative. Also, children's activities and more!
