Here at the Park District, we continually evolve, looking to bring you the very best programs. Now all hockey players can keep their skills sharp and their on-ice experience going with this new spring hockey league after the regular season ends in March.
Spring Hockey League, at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink, begins March 24 and runs through June 11, catering to those who would like to continue on the ice at the conclusion of our regular season. We meet on Tuesdays (skills, stick handling, power skating, shooting) and Thursdays (game nights) Teams rotate each week to ensure that everyone spends time on-ice with different players.
The goal is to keep each player’s skills sharp into our off-season break, as well as an opportunity to increase the on-ice game experience.
Clinics aid in learning and developing necessary hockey skills while game nights promote creativity and team-play.
Children ages 5 to 8 meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45-6:45 p.m. Click here to register
