Band of Long Island at Steppingstone Park and our Annual Persian concert featuring the very talented SEPIDEH at North Hempstead Park coming up this weekend!
Saturday, August 26 at 8 p.m., Conductor Michael Flamhaft returns with his 50-piece band, the Band of Long Island, to pay homage to great songs in American history and how they played a part in the 100 years of the Great Neck Park District. Commissioner Robert A. Lincoln, Jr. is a featured guest narrator.
The Annual Persian concert featuring the talented SEPIDEH, takes place on Sunday, August 26 at 6 p.m., North Hempstead Park, 175 West Shore Road in Port Washington in partnership with the Town of North Hempstead (Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Councilwoman Anna Kaplan and Commissioner Jill Weber). SEPIDEH believes in being a strong, sexy, proud, yet independent Persian woman and it comes through in her music.
